Events Sub-Commitee
Looking to be an important part of the MUCDA? Consider joining our Events Sub-Committee. Working closely with the VP Events, you will help participate in meetings to plan MUCDA in-person and/or online events and fundraisers, as well as set up and run events, including clean-up, alongside the MUCDA team!

Speaker Event
As many of our club members are interested in a career in communication sciences, we will be hosting events with speakers from the field. If you are interested in helping organize this event, email us and let us know!
Bake Sales on Campus
Got a knack for baking and love doing it too? We are always extremely grateful for our club members who donate baked goods to our bake sales, where all proceeds go towards our Bursary Program. We are also extremely grateful for club members who donate their time and take on a shift or two to table at the bake sale.
We will post more details about upcoming bake sales on our Facebook, Instagram, and email listserv. If you are interested in baking or table-ing for one of our sales, please email us and let us know! Again, we are always extremely grateful for our volunteers.
Information Tables on Campus
We will be holding an information table and giving out brochures and stickers to students who are interested in getting involved. Similar to our bakes sales, we will post more details about each on our Facebook page, Instagram, and email listserv. If you are interested in table-ing, please email us and we would be so appreciative if you signed up for a shift.
Fundraisers
Throughout the year, we will be hosting different fundraising events. These will include both art-related and relaxing activities, as well as general events about communication disorders! Keep an eye out for information regarding these events on our Facebook, Instagram and email listerv. If you would like to help out at one of our fundraisers, send us an email. We hope to see you there!
